The book is a mystery book about a woman who after 20 years of staying in london moves back to her hometown after her father's death to sort out his affairs. there she witnesses a boy's accident (hit ad run) who turns out to be the kid of her school friend. they do not know who hit and run but suspect that it is a local resident. That is all I remember of the book. Please help me out with the name of the book or the author
