SOLVED. YA or possible Children's book I read many years ago about group of teen girls in France and their daily lives. [s]

I read this when I was quite young so sorry for the random details:
It’s about a group of 4 (possibly 5?) teen girls in France, with chapters in each of their POVs.
There were lots of drawings of the girls throughout the book which is why I thought it might be childrens not YA
One was a really rich redhead, I seem to remember her wearing a Union Jack tank top. I also remember some kind of wedding in her family, I think it was her dad marrying a new woman after her mom died
One was blonde, I think she wore glasses and was named Nicole? Name might not be correct. She wanted to be a fashion designer and one plot point was about her making some kind of break in the fashion world
Don’t remember much about the other 2 (or 3), but the part I remember most vividly is when they all were at school after hours, I think working on a science project, and they made fluffernutter sandwiches (I’d never heard of before reading)

Could it be The English Roses chapter book series by Madonna? They're set in the UK, not France, but there is a blonde girl with glasses called Nicole. Amy is a redhead. They have a teacher called Miss Fluffernutter who marries Binah's dad in Catch the Bouquet!.
