Dakota | 2 comments Help!! I read this book online on a website I never use 4 years ago and cannot find it! It’s about a Young girl maybe 12ish who was living in the woods with her parents and other humans (after the tall blue aliens took over the earth) in hiding from them. The opening chapter, their camp is invaded by the blue aliens they find the girl under the bed and take her in a cage to a warehouse where she is traumatized seeing a human boy butchered by aliens. A nicer alien sees her and takes pity on her and brings her home to his ranch where she stays with the human woman who is over all of the “livestock” human women/girl slaves instead of in the cabin where they all sleep because she is so young and was treated badly. Young human is a delicacy and she is eaten in the end but was at peace with it because the head of the ranch taught her how to humanely and nicely kill sheep for food. He did the same for her and brought her head back to the woman to be buried Please help me find this!! It’s been haunting me for years!! I read it in 2018!

David Añez | 418 comments I checked out the Humans Are Food list, no luck.

Might want to check Humans That Are Treated Like Animals. It is a huge list.

Dakota, is this a published work?

What's the genre (which we need to squeeze into the header/ topic title) - e.g., science fiction for adults or teens, horror?
