Nila (digitalcreativepages) (digitalcreativepages) | 129 comments Hello Cyril,
Good morning
I am very picky in my YA fantasy as I would like if the author would take me into a different realm. The power of words had to be seen in the prose.
I have liked Leigh Bardugo, Roshani Chowksi, Sabaa Tahir.
I found Marissa Meyer's Gilded okay. I liked SJM but found the lines too repetitive for effective storytelling.

Kindly go through the terms on my website www.digitalreadsmedia.com/beta-reading
So are the testimonials.

If you find I can be helpful for your book and you would like to have discussions post receiving the feedback to make the book stronger, kindly mail me at digitalreadsmedia@gmail.com or via the form on the page.

Keep writing.
Be safe always

Anna Wheeler | 131 comments Hello Cryil,

In addition to beta reading, I am an audio book narrator. I hear, see and feel the flow of a story. As a narrator I pre read the books and then spend days immersed in narrating, I call it coffee time with the characters. All these leads to a deeper understanding as a beta reader.
I have narrated for Cynthia Melton the YA Series The Wheel, The Hunt and The Others. At this time this is my favorite YA novels. After all I spent a lot of time with them.
I would be happy to read your manuscript.

Hey Cyril!

I just tried to send you a PM on here but I don't think you're accepting messages. My three favorite YA authors are Leigh Bardugo, Alexandra Bracken, & Katherine Arden. Fantasy is right up my alley and one of my favorite genres! If you'd like to chat further, just get in touch on here or my email: bookwormlisa@gmail.com

Have a good day!

Breyonna Jordan, Developmental Editor | 11 comments Hi Cyril!

I am a professional developmental editor who specializes in sci-fi and fantasy. As a big fan of the YA fantasy genre, I love transversing new worlds. I am also intrigued by the concept of your novel, as well as its capacity for worldbuilding, lore, and interesting character relationships.

To answer your question, my favorite authors are Victoria Schwab, Leigh Bardugo, and Marissa Meyer, though I am well-read in numerous YA fantasy subgenres.

I would love to complete a beta read to your specifications or provide an Editorial Assessment for your piece. Like all of my developmental editing services, this low-cost option is designed for speculative authors. It examines how your use of characterization, plot, setting, and other literary elements engages the reader and propels the story and theme.

After reading your novel, I write a detailed revision letter highlighting the advantages and shortcomings of your narrative while providing potential solutions and advice for various problems that may occur within your manuscript.

The estimated cost of an Editorial Assessment for a standard 80,000-word novel is $129.

I can also provide a custom offer with the best services I can offer for a price that suits both of us.

To learn more about me and my services, please visit https://editingyourworlds.com/.

If you are interested in working with me or viewing a sample revision letter please leave a reply, message me, or email bjordan@editingyourworlds.com, and we can discuss this further.

Thank you for this exciting opportunity, and have a great day!

Ayesha Abdul | 273 comments Hi Cyril,
I am interested in beta reading for you. I have extensive experience in beta reading YA fantasy and it is my specialty. It is very difficult for me to choose favorite YA fantasy authors because most have some books I like and others I don't. But some favorites for me would be SJM, Brandon Sanderson, and Leigh Bardugo.
I'm very interested in this aquatic/underwater setting.
My website, https://whatayeshareads.blogspot.com/... has more information about my services, examples of my commenting style, and testimonials. There are also more testimonials on my Goodreads thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Thanks,
Ayesha

Lee (darkestwings) | 4 comments I'm intrigued by your summary!

My favorite YA authors right now are Nina LaCour, Laini Taylor, and...probably either Shannon Hale or Suzanne Collins.

My rate for your novel would be $50 with a 21 day turnaround, however if you need it sooner, I can do that (but the rate goes up a bit).

If you would like to discuss your needs/goals and get started, please email me at virtualee@protonmail.com :)

Cheryl | 4 comments Hi! I’ve been doing beta reading for 8 years and counting, but have only been on Fiverr for 2, hence my small amount of reviews.

https://www.fiverr.com/share/ox56pA

But I’m confident in my reading and reviews. Do hit me up on fiver to get an example of a past work or a quote!

Some of my fav authors definitely are Sarah J. Maas, Suzanne Collins, and Kiera Cass. Or you could also consider Nalini Singh and Ilona Andrews, though both not labeled as YA, but are my most re-read authors.
