I'm sure that by that point, she had been trained. Anything that she did to help Mick would keep her from being the center of his wrath, putting his negative attentions on someone else.
I felt like all the girls had the mentality of just looking out for themselves. If she helped Jewel escape - Lola would've gotten more wrath from the men.
Yes, sadly it was only survival mode for the one who was never going to try to escape. It was difficult, in hindsight, to blame her.
These poor girls. They pay a price for looking out for one another. It was pure self preservation.
