Tracy reconnects with Dan O’Leary, her childhood friend who’s now an attorney. He not only agrees to take the case but becomes romantically involved with her. How well did they work as a team while keeping the personal stuff separate?

They did great. I like them as a couple because Dan supports Tracy's goals and vice versa. Also, he listens to her and trusts her motives.

I think they are a perfect couple. They both have positive and negative qualities, but the positive is dominant. I can't wait to see what happens next since they are making careers in two different locations.

I think its great they re-connect. Seems when they were childhood friends she was the dominant friend and now to me they seem to be evenly matched.

Agree they are evenly matched. It was nice to see Tracy have some positivity in her life while having to deal with her sorrow of discovering Sarah's body, the trial, etc.

Ditto everything you all said. I liked Dan, a lot. He seems so well suited to be with Tracy because he respects her strengths. She admires him, feels at ease when she’s around him.

The clincher? His dogs like her and she made provisions for them when deciding on her new home!

I agree about the dogs. The fact that she expects them to be a part of her life, makes me think that Tracy and Dan will be a long term couple.

I agree with all of you. I really liked this aspect of the book. They complement each other. I'm really hoping they work out in the series.

Agree. Dan and Tracy seem like they are good for each other. They trust each other and seem to bring out the best in each other.
