I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I agree with Milly that more scenes with Breeches were needed. The bedroom incident with Breeches had me lmao. I loved the dialogue. I thought the new friends were pretty cool. The dramatic ball scene was great. The vicar father was an a__hat. I disliked him intensely.

I think Breeches appeared sufficient times. TD is a master with her plotting and her humour and she rarely over-eggs the pudding.

I finished it! And I am as giddy as I was before, all 4 times. I adore this story so much that I overlook all the bloody flaws, okay that's not true, I don't see any flaws at all. It's chocolate, a warm fuzzy blanket, a cup of coffee, french fries all rolled into this one idiotic story. Bottom line - This book makes me happy! Here is the fifth iteration of my review.

I absolutely loved this novel!! I adored Emma and her pet names for the Duke. The scene when they are playing badminton and she called him her "darling angel muffin" just about killed me.
I absolutely loved this novel!! I adored Emma and her pet names for the Duke. The scene when they are playing badminton and she called him her "darling angel muffin" just about killed me. The Duke and how he won over Breeches through patience and kindness was endearing and very telling of his character. I also enjoyed each time he corrected Emma in the "proper" way things were done.
I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
