SOLVED: I read a majority of the series around 2015-2016. It was on kindle unlimited but I can't find it in my history or any searching I have tried. It had MANY books and started with one couple and every so many books changed main characters. There was shapeshifting I think and dragons and maybe werewolves? The first couple was revisited multiple times and when I stopped reading several books in it was on the daughters love story. There was a secret island that was full of all the paranormal people and some lived in tree houses and some in caves? Help me!!
