A.E. Walnofer | 9 comments Hey Cy--
My book, A Girl Called Foote, doesn't quite fit into your "mystery/suspense/thriller or science fiction" categories-of-choice, BUT the opening scene has a little boy urinating into one of his home's many fireplaces. Does that make up for not falling into your preferred genres? ;) If so, and you can appreciate historically fictitious, coming-of-age stories then please check it out. It's free on smashwords and the Kindle version is only 99¢ at Amazon. Anyway, let me know and then I'll check out your review policy. Thanks!

message 22: by Cy (new)

Cy Wyss (cywyss) | 42 comments Hi A.E,

Sure, I can appreciate a good book of another genre. Sign up as indicated in the review policy and I'll be happy to add A Girl Called Foote to the monthly drawings.

Thanks,
Cy

L.S. O'Dea | 9 comments Cy,

My series is YA dystopian sci-fi, but since it takes place many years in the future there is some world building. Took a look at your website and you state that you aren't really interested in world building. I'd love a review but don't want to submit if it isn't something you'd be interested in reading. The name is Lake Of Sins: Escape (book 1). I'll submit if you are interested. I took a look at some of your books and they seem somewhat in line with mine (especially Eyeshine). My characters are genetically modified humans (human and animal - but they don't know it).
Look forward to hearing from you.
Linda

message 26: by Cy (new)

Cy Wyss (cywyss) | 42 comments Dystopian sci-fi with some world building sounds reasonable. Go ahead and submit and I'll add Lake of Sins book 1 to the monthly drawings. It sounds like an interesting premise. Thanks! --Cy

Sounds good! I just submitted my book as requested on your page! Any current ETA for reviews based on your current work load? :) Thanks for doing this!

message 35: by Cy (new)

Cy Wyss (cywyss) | 42 comments Thanks, David, looking forward to reading your work. I don't have an ETA due to the random element of choosing my next reviews (everyone gets a chance). It could be anywhere from days to (unfortunately) months. But I'll get there! (Now if only I could learn to speed read...)
