I don't know if it's a trope but like when the girl falls in love with her kidnapper/abuser. I just don't see how you can end up loving someone who hurted you. That's why I personally don't enjoy mafia romance
age gap where the younger mc isnt 21 yet like why are u going for a person who cant even drink yet when you’re a grown adult… if the age gap is 20s and 30s i enjoy it bc it’s reasonable but some age gap books take it wayyy to far

Pregnancy, mafia romance, when she gets back with her ex or falls in love with her abuser is a big no no for me. If I read something like that from the first couple pages of a book I’ll be done reading with it in less than a minute. Definitely not a fan of these.
