Comment book suggestions, the book you plan on reading, or the book you did read and a small review!

Lovey House of Mystery - Courtney Bates-Hardy - 5

I'm sure that if I were to re-read this book of poems in different settings, or in different moods, I would feel differently about each poem in every reading. That's what makes me appreciate this little book. Human Perfection & Diamonds and Toads were my favorites this time around. Which will speak loudest next time is anyone's guess--but there will be a next time.

Si (books & coffee) | 25 comments I just finished reading A Universe of Wishes: A We Need Diverse Books Anthology for this square.

As with all anthologies there are stories within this book that I loved, stories which I didn't really care for and some in between.

I gave this book 3*

Vaish B (vaishubieber) This was the first novel that made me a reader i am today. Hence it holds a special place in my heart. I reread The Naughtiest Girl Collection for this square.

Ash My Dutch teacher let me borrow her version of Komijnsplitsers by Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, I don't really like poetry but I am planning to try it today.

Just finished this book. There were a couple of poems that I liked more than the others, but none of them really stood out to me. The ones I liked a little bit (with rough translations) were: Lispelvrees (Lisp fear), Uit een veelbekroond leven (Out of an award-winning life), Hoofd vol maakbaarheid (Head full of manufacturability) & Geslachtelijke bepaling (Gender/Sex determination).
