SOLVED. Illustrated Children's book about girl not wanting to go to sleep

I am trying to figure out the name of an illustrated children's book where a little girl doesn't want to go to sleep. Her mom shows her around the house and I remember the mom saying "look, even the dog has to sleep" and a drawing of a dog asleep on the rug. It wasn't a long book, maybe 10 or so pages. I read this when I was young around the year 2000.
