Mystery short story - After a brief recount of some past events, a boy shoves his father out the window. Read around 1990.

I read this in high school around 1990 +/- a year.

The clues embedded in the recount are that his friends have been killed, mom taught him that makeup covers up blemishes, he saw his dad with some touch ups on his face. I'm sure there were a few more clues I don't remember. I do recall something like the father not making a sound when falling to his death, as if recognizing the justice.
