I have the Faricy sitting around here somewhere, Christina, but haven't read it yet. Looking forward to seeing if you like it.
My choices for February:
The Observer Effect by Nick Jones
Creation in Death by J.D. Robb
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It by Elle Cosimano

I really liked the "perfectly proper" -- as I recall, I read the four that were out at the time nearly back to back.

I was unfamiliar with your last three picks (and I admit, attracted by that flurry of color) -- what a contrast with the Asimov! You'll have good reading in February, methinks.

Looking forward to Asimov to counteract the overdose of contemporary romance.

"This looks like an interesting read. Looking forward to your review.
I'm listening to the audio book of
, which is indeed this rusty pinkish color. I've read a few of the later Agatha Raisin books (in addition to .5, which is before this one, which is #1), so it's nice to get back to the beginning for the introduction of the characters. They are fun audio books for a commute.

"I enjoyed Hooks can be deceiving. The mystery wasn't the strongest, but I liked the characters and the crochet stuff.

Finished my "pink" cover for February:
Love, Death & Rare Books by Robert Hellenga - 4 stars - My Review

I liked the first 20 or so of that series. The older Beaton got the more they felt phoned in. But I'll finish it because I only have two or so left - same with Hamish. :)

I've finished my first pink book:
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It by Elle Cosimano, definitely a fun read!review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

. A strong 5 star book. This book really opened my eyes on issues within the LGBTQ community that i honestly didn't know. Not only is the story a good one, i feel like i learned something.

[bookcover:A Magical New York Christma..."Thanks Delsey. I am doing better. My lungs are back clear which is a huge relief. Docs said it will take awhile for them to fully heal so don't plan on running any races anytime soon. 🤣🤣 I said thats fine, i have a ton of books to catch up on!!

[bookcover:A Magical New York Christma..."Thanks Martha! Yes, you know it's bad when you don't even want to read. My husband said that's the longest time he's ever seen me not have a book in my hands.
Lindsey wrote: "Lindsey wrote: "Well, after being out all month with covid that turned into pneumonia."Glad to hear you are recovering. Several people I know have the lingering cough. Think positive and take the time to enjoy a good book (or 4) and a hot cup of tea/coffee, both can work wonders on your time recovery.

"well I finished and enjoyed Hooks can be deceiving. I am into crochet right now, so fun characters, crochet, and a nice setting made this a great travel cozy. I didn't finish Arsenic in the Azaleas before it returned itself (kindle) and I wasn't liking it enough to put it on hold again, so that one is a dnf.
