Should you force yourself to finish a book in order to finish a series (which you are almost done with) ?

I'm reading the fifth book in the Zodiac Academy series and I'm two hundred pages in. However, It's put me in a reading slump and I have an exceptionally long TBR which I wanna start reading. Should I finish the book (and possibly the rest of the series) or should I just DNF it?

If you're only on book 5, I'd just DNF it... these books are HUGE lol I just recently read them and it took me some time to get through them cause they tend to drag everything out. There's a reason for it. But you don't find out until the most recent book. There's one more book coming out at the end of the year that's suppose to be the end of the series though. You could always put the book down for now and come back to it. Or read a couple chapters at a time and break it up with some other books. I did have to do that from time to time.
theres nothing at all wrong with putting a book down, if your not feeling it right now thats ok, go get one of your TBR's and enjoy, you can always come back to this one later, there is a twist at the end thats worth reading them though, and all the spin of books.
