I’m rereading this after many years right now. I never read books 3 and 4 of the series so I’m reading this in preparation.

Carlos Ruiz Zafón is one of my favorite authors. Maybe it's time to reacquaint myself with his books.
This is a good book and I envy those of you who will experience it for the first time. The WWII-era Barcelona setting is vividly rendered and the characters are memorable, even though the plot gets a little convoluted at times. I much preferred the written version and not the audiobook which I thought was far too melodramatic. I read the prequel The Angel's Game last year and liked it even better than this one.
I’ve had this on my shelf for a while now and I’m really looking forward to it. To be honest, I can’t understand why I haven’t read it before.
I've a funny feeling I had this and gave it away without reading! Will have to search. If so, I will do audio.
This has been on my list for ages, and I keep moving it around. Perhaps it's finally time to read it!
I've read this book many years ago and I love it! I'm tempted to squeeze a reread with my other February books

t’s my first time reading this one and joining in a monthly reading. I’m glad a book in my TBR that I already own was finally picked. I’ve been looking forward to reading this one, so the timing was just perfect!
