Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Here's the list of Warren W. Wiersbe's books, if anyone wants to see if they have access to any of his books for three points. His full name (with initial) has to be on the cover of the book to gain all three points.

Kellyn Roth (kellynrothauthor) | 195 comments I could probably use this one right now, so I might do this!

Vinnie I found a few 3-pointers...I'm probably not going to read them, but maybe someone is interested:

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I think 4 because the last name only shows once on the cover. Great find!

message 161: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Is there another edition with both names shown separately?

It doesn't have to be on the cover. Either listed on Goodreads or on the cover on Goodreads. :)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I thought the rule was that we were going with which name they used on the cover, because it was stated they had to use it professionally (on the cover).

Not exclusively. It can be either the book cover/Goodreads. Some books don't list the author on the cover, so it just has to be listed on Goodreads or the book cover.

"Author names MUST be the names found on the book cover/Goodreads. It doesn't matter if someone's middle name is the same letter, if they don't use it professionally."

message 166: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments It’s that last sentence that makes it sound like it has to be on the cover. There are several authors who use their middle names on GR but not on any of their books, thus not using it professionally on their books. I’m so confused.

Ah. I can understand how that could be confusing and I'm sorry about that. If it is listed on Goodreads as their name, then we would consider it professionally used, as it is publicly used. Wrong wording. It's just that if you have to go searching online to find out their middle name, that doesn't work, but it being their "author name" on Goodreads is considered professionally/publicly used in our game. I hope that answers the question.

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Thank you for explaining that. It helped clear things up.

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Checking in.

My book is a nonfiction with 400 pages. Since I have a couple of fiction review books due asap, I won't be able to do any back-up books this round as I had hoped.

Is anyone else able to read a back-up or two?

Also, how is everyone's main-book going?

message 170: by Mindy (new)

Mindy | 22 comments I am reading A Year of Weddings: Twelve Love Stories for 3 points. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I can try to read a back up book if there’s time.

Mindy | 22 comments Just posted my book. It took longer to read than expected, but it’s now completed.

message 183: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Thanks, Mindy! Will you check the dates? I think they say Feb instead of Mar (2 instead of 3).

message 184: by Mindy (new)

Mindy | 22 comments Oops! Yes, I meant March. I’ll fix the dates when I get home in about 20-30 min.

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Mindy wrote: "Oops! Yes, I meant March. I’ll fix the dates when I get home in about 20-30 min."

Great, thanks! I figured it was just a typo. I accidentally wrote "12" at the end of a date not too long ago. Not sure where that came from, since 2012 was quite a while ago... Haha!

I'll remove my comment over in the Round thread once the dates are changed. :) Just covering bases.

Does something like "dark green" also count?
