I really enjoyed this one. I'd only read one of his books before and enjoyed that one too. I liked how he included recent events in the story such as the virus. A liked the writing and the characters.

Hi, I have this thing whereby I opt to read series in order, so I did not read this particular book, but just finished The Kill Artist, and will definitely try to read the rest of the series.

I “discovered” Gabriel Allon by picking up Black Widow from an airport book store. I loved it so much and realized it was a series and had to go back and start from the beginning. I’ve enjoyed it ever since. Still making my way through the series.

A good friend of mine got me into the Allon series so I've read some books and picked up this one. This book is probably the closest to a Dan Brown in terms of Church conspiracies.
It's the Allon I'm used to plus it gave me some food for thought on possible happenings in the Vatican.
