Karma for making us read that bonus book???

I will probably finish up last week's book this week and read this week's next week. That is a lot of "weeks" in one sentence!

Well, I did catch up...and #14 is an Audible book, so no waiting for library holds.

I am currently listening to an audible book (only 66% done), and I only listen when I am in the car, so it may be a bit before I get to this week's book. Good thing it is the last in the game!

Marina (sonnenbarke) | 1513 comments I started out well, but now I'm really sucking at this! I still have 5 to go (this week's included) and I'm not sure I'll make it before the month ends...

Dee (austhokie) | 2695 comments yeah i def. won't finish this one - but at least it'll help me prioritize my reading order for this

Rosemary | 946 comments I just finished my fifth book and unwrapped number 11 (week 6) which is The Girl in the Red Coat by Kate Hamer.

After that I have another 4 wrapped books plus the bonus book which I haven't unwrapped either, all lined up on my "to read this month" shelf. I hope I will get to most of them :)

The surprise is part of the fun! Although a couple of times I have hunted everywhere for a book that's on my TBR and I keep looking thinking "I KNOW I have that book somewhere" but it isn't on any of my shelves or even fallen behind my desk or anything... and finally I realise, of course! I must have wrapped it up LOL

Hahaha, I've done that too!!

I should've kept a list of what's wrapped even if unnumbered (in hindsight)

Finished my last Blind Date book! It was an audiobook that I read mostly on the drive to and from my week of camping.

Of course, Tien! Just when I catch up, you add another. WOW!

BTW, I am so busy with this game that I have not even started on Trim and Moving Mountains!

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1223 comments I finished my last book last night. This has been fun and it got me to read a few books that I otherwise wouldn't have gotten to any time soon.

message 169: by Rosemary (last edited Apr 28, 2022 08:38AM) (new)

Rosemary | 946 comments I found that my 7th book was a May book for By The Month so I decided to save it for next month and read my bonus book instead, Newcomer by Keigo Higashino. Finished on Tuesday.

My 8th book was Hangman's Holiday by Dorothy L. Sayers for the anthologies prompt. I finished that today.

My 9th book is another collection of Dorothy Sayers short stories, In the Teeth of the Evidence.

My 10th book is still wrapped! But I have unwrapped all the books that weren't picked, so I just have that one surprise left...

Not sure about that. I took the whole month of May off from this mini challenge, and finished the last two books this week... But it's all done now!
