How to mark a book "NOT A BOOK"

I sincerely tried to search through the discussion topics first, but I could not find an answer, so I hope this is not repetitive.

I noticed a book marked NOT A BOOK, and so I went to the manual to read about it. The book I noticed had the title *and* the author marked NOT A BOOK, but I notice other books only have the author marked as NOT A BOOK. Could you maybe clarify in the manual *what* exactly is supposed to be marked as NOT A BOOK so there is consistency and librarians aren't doing different things? My interpretation is that only the author should be changed, linked to the NOT A BOOK author profile, but that everything else should be left the same. Is this correct?

Changing the author is needed for NAB. The title is no required for the technical side, although I think it was in the past more often the practice to do so.

I hardly ever change the title any more, mainly because most of my recent NABs are merging profiles with only notebooks and such into the Not A Book profile and editing all those titles would quite increase the amount of work.
