SOLVED. Teens YA Fantasy book: Blue-haired girl (who was either half-elf or elf)'s village is attacked and she flees and becomes an excellent fighter bc she wants to kill the tyrant/ king. Spoilers ahead. [s]

I read this book between 2010 and 2015. It was about a half-elf girl with blue hair, the man she thought was her father got killed so she went in search of the elf village but all elves had been killed. So she went to train so whe could kill the tyrant that had killed them all. A boy joined her who was not that good at fighting and they fell in love. I remember the cover showed her looking quite assassin-like in leather clothes. The scene in which she killed the tyrant; he appeared to her in the form of a child so she wouldn't kill him but she did anyway. A later book in the series was about another girl with brown hair, and she found out about a woman who kept drinking potions to stay young.
