Woohoo looking forward to reading this book. I picked it because it was the most beautiful interesting. The summary of the book reminds me of a movie called “Age of Adeline.” Also funny to note that my inter-library loan gave me the LARGE print version…so extra long read for me! 😂
I am hoping to join this read. I'm on the rather long wait list at the library so we will see how this unfolds. I chose this book because the story sounds intriguing and I am the mood for a fantasy novel. And... the cover is beautiful!
Really looking forward to this book! A friend read it, she loved it and then gave it to me. The expectations are quite high now!
I'll be reading this one too. Fantasy isn't usually my fave, but the story sounded interesting, so will give it a shot. Hope it's not about vampires though.
i'm planning on reading too :) my friend really liked it and I've seen a lot of good reviews of it, I hope I like it too
I'm going to give it a try, however, I'm not really convinced that this is a book for me. Will see...
I started it and so far I am enjoying it. Fantasy is not usually my go to but I decided to give this one a try!
I plan on reading this book. I found this book to have the most interesting book description and I saw some good reviews on this book.
Like a number of the others, this is not usually something that I would pick up to read but I'm going in with an open mind. We'll see how it goes.
It was a very good book. I liked the whole idea. The author was able to find something new in the well-known story about selling the soul to the devil. Though, I think this book was a bit too long at times. Here's my full review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm joining this read. It's my first time attempting to do a group read.I selected this book through BOTM, but it's just been sitting on the shelf for months. It had initially sounded interesting to me, but enthusiasm has waned since a reviewer I respect kind of panned it.
But I'll give it a chance since I already have it.
I’m often late to the party with my reads - all audio books. Grabbed this one on my audible and ready to go when my current book is done!
I ended up DNFing this pretty early on, I just couldn’t connect with Addie. The writing is beautiful tho.

Started it yesterday. I find myself wondering how it ends which is pushing me to finish it quickly, although Addie seems a little, well, never entirely suitable to handle what she wished for, even with the protections she has.

I have not started this one yet, but will soon. Just finished The Turn of the Screw, this one is next.
