I have a question about Contemporary. Does the genre have to be the separate genre as in the 4th entry on this list or would the 8th entry Contemporary Romance as a subgenre work if it was the only genre listed? I plan to use this book, but in case I need to switch something later.

Morning. Could you confirm Romance for at least one of One Foot in the Grove, Love Her to Death, Killer Chardonnay or Clobbered by Camembert. All of them have it, but very small numbers and towards the bottom of the list, so I'm not sure how many will show up.
It's not a genre I go out of my way to read, so I'm having to find it on other books! Sorry to make you work!
Thanks.
my rolls because I will forget (and if somebody has a tip for music please let me know!)5 - horror
23 - young adult
8 - music

An easy option for Music would be reading a memoir/biography of a musician you like. Or there are lots of romance books featuring musicians which would probably have Music as a MPG.
Can you please confirm Hot in Here for Food & Drink. It's near the bottom and I'm not sure it won't fall off. Thanks!

One of mine is 24 Holiday.
Are embedded genres OK for this? Specifically,
Holiday > Christmas
Holiday > Halloween
Thanks!
I doubt I'll get this far, but just in case I rolled 5, 16, 5 (horror x2, thriller).I'm opting to keep the duplicate since my shelves are filled with books that fit.
Joanne wrote: "Could I please get The Confidence Men noted as having "historical" on the MP?"Approved for Historical.

Sorry, but Literature is different than Literary Fiction. Literature covers pretty much all novels. Literary Fiction tends to be character driven, experimental in it's writing style, and is making some sort of point about society or humanity as a whole.
Not approved.

Advent calendars are a popular way to count down the days until Christmas, from December 1st to 24th. For this task, I've created an advent calendar image where each day represents a different book genre.
This is a 3 book challenge. The total page count for all books must be at least 750 pages. No books with the genres children or kids on the main book page may be used.
Go to RollADie.net - https://rolladie.net/ - and roll a 24 sided die 3 times. Record your rolls. Using the calendar below, read one book for each roll with the main page genre that matches the number you rolled. The genre may be standalone or embedded.
Required: List your rolls when you post.
You may only roll one set of 3 dice, with one exception. If you roll the same number more than once, you can choose to keep that roll (which would mean you read multiple books from the same genre) or disregard that roll and try again.
