I can take the latitude 0 that's left, with the 400 pages in The Silent Sisters, by Robert Dugoni.

No worries Jillian! Don't feel rushed :)I will be interested in what you think of it when you are done.

I finished 5 Troubled Blood by Robert Galbraith 1/29/2022There were parts I really like and part I found too disturbing (though it goes with the story). It definitely should have been short 3.5 starts.
Thanks for the update Jillian! I thought that book was WAY to long. Each one of her Strike books gets longer and longer with a whole lot of unneeded stuff. I wonder if they pay her by the word...lol.
Finished the latitude 0 and wow, what a ride, and a great end to the series! I've never been disappointed by this author's books, and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. 400 pages : The Silent Sisters (Charles Jenkins #3), by Robert Dugoni, finished 1/29 ★★★★
Thanks for the updates Barb & Karen! Barb - I've only read one of his books (Tracy Crosswhite) but it was great. The next one is on my To Read This Year list along with starting the Charles Jenkins series. Good to know Dugoni is consistently good.
I finished 3 in Longitude: Life Flight by Lynette Eason, 336 pages, 2/2/22.
So sorry for the delay, y'all. This past week has been busy.

If it makes a difference, Jan, Charles Jenkins started as a side character -- important, but not the MC -- in Dugoni's David Sloane series. I've read three of the five books in that series, but I think Jenkins was introduced in the very first book. If you're interested in the Sloane books, you might want to read the first one there before starting the Jenkins series, just to give you a better feel for the character himself.

No worries Andrea!! Thanks for the update :)

Though I am crossing off quite a few through your Stagnant Series Challenge.
We've completed our second treasure hunt! Look what we discovered!!Treasure Hunt #2
Bust Of Queen Nefertiti at Neues Museum, Berlin Germany
Latitude: 52.520721
Longitude: 13.398440

One of the most powerful women of Ancient Egypt, Queen Nefertiti has always fascinated me. She is sometimes called The Great Royal Wife and ruled alongside her husband, Pharaoh Akhenaten in the 14th century BCE. She became a global icon of feminine beauty and power when her sandstone bust was rediscovered in 1912 by a German archaeological team led by Ludwig Borchardt.
This priceless treasure of the Egyptian Queen shows the spectacular artisanship of Egyptian artistry. It is made of a base of solid limestone covered in layers of applied plaster, inlaid glass eyes, and is exquisitely painted in vivid colors that have withstood eons. As we gaze at the delicacy of her features and the almost surreal slenderness of her neck, the fact that something so fragile could survive the ravages of history is mind blowing and endows this sculpture with a tangible aura of immortality.
The Nefertiti bust has become a cultural symbol of Berlin as well as ancient Egypt and has been on display in Berlin since 1924. However, it has also been the subject of an intense argument between Egypt and Germany over Egyptian demands for its repatriation. You can learn more about this beautiful treasure on Wikipedia and can
visit the museum at its website: https://www.smb.museum/en/home/
Coordinates for our Treasure Hunt #3 have been posted. I've claimed #4 Longitude with Small Town Spin which was published in 2014.
Another great treasure! I can take latitude 0 with Wizard and Glass by Stephen King page number 1,041 (I figure is is okay to use this book. I have been reading on since December and still have over 500 pages left).
Don't know if this will count since I just finished after you posted the new coordinates, but if it does I finished Firefly Lane - it can work for latitude 8 - 508 pgs
Thanks Jillian & BC! Laila Jane I prefer you choose something that wasn't so recently finished. Thanks!

You work so hard on these challenges, Jan! Love this idea.I can take Longitude 9 with Nanaville: Adventures in Grandparenting which was originally published in 2019.
Did I do that right?
