I remember a beach was either a major scene or a reoccurring scene. The voices tried to make her do something bad to herself at the beach? Maybe drown herself? Only like 50% sure.
I actually drew a picture of the cover when i had the book but without the title and author on it. Its a pity i cant attach the image, but its background is a pastel pink-orange-purple-blue gradient and theres silhouettes of an amusement park (a ferris wheel and another big spinning ride) and birds. You can see tents at the bottom.
