The Larapinta Trail follows the rocky spine of the West MacDonnell Ranges from Alice Springs Telegraph Station to Mount Sonder. Challenge yourself to hike the whole trail or tackle one or more of its 12 sections, all of which vary in difficulty and length. Each section can be reached by four-wheel drive, so you can join or leave the trail at any of the trailheads. The Trail encompasses some of the key attractions of the ranges including Simpsons Gap, and the permanent waterholes at Ellery Creek Big Hole, Ormiston Gorge and Glen Helen. It weaves past some of the world’s most ancient metamorphic and igneous rock and nearly 600 species of flora.

Covering 300 miles around the turquoise coast of southern Turkey from Fethiye to Antalya, the Lycian Way gives walkers a chance to explore the former kingdom of Lycia. Passing through the ancient town of Sidyma and the ghost town of Kaya, the route cleaves to the water, with the chance of a cooling dip after a long day's walk. The route is well-marked and can be followed without a guide and features Mediterranean views, mountainous hinterland, Turkish culture and ancient ruins.

The Silk Road (or roads) is the name given to the ancient trading routes opened by the Han Dynasty of China in order to begin trade with the West. They stretched all across Asia and into Europe; lasting from 130BC to around the 15th century, when the Ottoman Empire closed trade with the West and maritime trading became more feasible. Silk was China’s main export during this time, thus leading to the name Silk Road. The route chosen begins in Xi’an, the first capital of China; leading through to Rome, Italy. Along the way, it will passes through Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, The Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, The Black Sea, Bulgaria, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia.

Elbrus is the highest and most prominent peak in Russia and Europe. It is situated in the western part of the Caucasus. It rises 5,642 metres above sea level and will require significant acclimatizing. The ascent is a moderate snow climb that presents minimal technical difficulty but the altitude makes climbing Mt. Elbrus a challenging undertaking. One of the Seven Summits, 2/7.

The Lechweg Trail follows the Lechweg river starting from Lechall in Fussen, Germany to its source in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It passes the royal castles of King Ludwig II of Bavaria as well as crystal clear lakes, the Doser waterfall, the trail heads through the Tiroler Lech National Park, a protected area with lush meadows, turquoise water and ibex at every turn. You'll have the opportunity to take Austria’s probably most spectacular and once longest suspension bridge which stretches over the Höhenbachtal gorge.

The Michinoku Coastal Trail begins in Hachinohe City in Aomori Prefecture and ends in Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture in an area that was rebuilt after the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit in 2011.

The trek stretches between Irottko Moutain on the border of Austria to the border of Slovakia, where it ends in the village of Hollohaz. Peaks along this moderate trail don't go above 3,400 feet, making it a less-strenuous walking adventure.
