Greetings and Salutations! I hope everyone has had a peaceful and safe Holiday Season. Let's start the new year off with reading a good book. We will start with a book that I have been looking at for a few months on our library shelf. Our Kindred Creatures: How Americans Came to Feel the Way They do About Animals by Bill Wasik and Monica Murphy. Book people, I find, tend to love animals. Think of all the books that have been published over the last years and over the decades about people and the animals they love. It is not only good stories (think Tiger King) but if you are like me, you cannot even watch movies where animals are harmed in any way. And YouTube is filled with people who love and live with all kind of animals. Have you read a book that touched you deeply about an animal? Please share it. Hope you enjoy this book.
