With any high stress or volatile situation - the more you know going in is better than going in blind. Plus - in law enforcement they have to make judgement calls all the time. They put themselves out there as soon as they put their uniform on.

I agree. The more Tracy learned, the better she would be able to deal with the situation.

That neighbor was a Godsend! She gave Tracy the past history and a quick overview of the current situation. It ultimately helped Tracy establish a dialogue with Alexy. Good neighbor.
