Tracy is confident in her skills and abilities. She is articulate and able to fight her own battles. I love that about her. When she went to the inquiry she stated the facts about the demo and her actions. She gave little digs at Nolasco without being confrontational. "I was surprised that he was not prepared to defend himself and was so easily disarmed." Nolasco's response let the committee know that he was inappropriate.
I think he was probably totally surprised that she stood up to him. And no doubt he is plotting to get even when they meet again. But I'm more than sure Tracy will be up to the task of slapping him down again.

She’s always going to be one step ahead of him mentally. She’s quick witted and isn’t at all intimidated by him.

I don't think he thought his plan of 'tattling on her' through at all. She is articulate, able to think on her feet, confident in herself and her abilities. Her dealing with high schollers came in handy with this bully.

Also - at the end when he said her and Jennifer Almond were sticking together and they asked if they needed to interview her as well. Kind of a priceless moment there - I just saw him like a deer in the headlights with an "Oh Shit" bubble over his head, lol

I agree with all of you. He never saw Tracy coming. His experience with women has been that they would back down. He's definitely going to be gunning for her.
Gunning is the right word, Karen! The gun range scene was one of my favorites.
