Barbara | 110 comments Going for catnip again this year.
Already read Sweet Violet's Ghost (A Sweet Cove Mystery #19) by J.A. Whiting but the cats are playing less and less of a role as the series goes on and some of the sisters had babies and I am sure they will be characters too.
The problem with this series is that there are too many characters and the writer has to get each of them in there and they all get their say.

Welcome back to the challenge! Have fun!

Barbara | 110 comments Thanks.
I just finished The Time for Murder is Meow (Urban Tails Pet Shop Mysteries #1) by T.C. LoTempio last evening. Surprisingly I really liked it except for the fact the woman was paying more attention to her aunt's cat that was now hers since her aunt died rather than her own cat she had for a long time. That made me mad.

Betty (bettylouise54) | 55 comments That book is still on my shelf unread.
Have you read FURBIDDEN FATALITYby Laura Scott? It is a good one.

Betty (bettylouise54) | 55 comments Just notice the uoth of FURBIDDEN FATALITY is Deborah Blake. Laura Scott is the author of DOGGONE DEADLY which I have read and liked very much. Sorry about making a mistake with the authors.

Barbara | 110 comments Just finished Rise of ZomBert by Kara LaReau it is a middle grade and not usually what I read but it does have the beginnings of a mystery that is a trilogy long but I am invested and right after finishing I bought the second book and it was $10.00 which I think is too much money for an ebook. I can't afford that so the third in the series will have to wait.

No haven't read that. Haven't read either of them. Will have a look. I want to concentrate on getting some series read up this year.

Barbara | 110 comments Finished the whole Fat Cat series: Fat Cat Takes the Cake (A Fat Cat Mystery #3) by Janet Cantrell Fat Cat Spreads Out (A Fat Cat Mystery #2) by Janet Cantrell

Not sure this qualifies as a cat cozy even with a cat on the cover. I didn't even remember reading it when looking over my list to post:
Die in the Wool A Knitty Kitty Cozy Mystery by Katherine Hayton

And of course: Wish You Were Here (Mrs. Murphy, #1) by Rita Mae Brown

Barbara | 110 comments Reread The Time for Murder is Meow on my Kindle. I thought I'd read it last year but looks like it was the start of this year which already seems a liftime ago. So I am still including it towards my Catnip challenge.
Got the second in the series now and needed the reread to refresh on the characters.

Barbara | 110 comments Sweet Blue Water (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 22) by J A Whiting Dramatic Paws (Kitten Witch Mysteries #1) by Corrine Winters Started a new series the Kitten Witch Series. Its short which is good. I like that the cat talks and that the sherrif boyfriend is a wolf shifter and the main character's BFF is a bat shifter. Not keen on the pub setting.

Barbara | 110 comments New series that only has three books because of course I like it.
Improbable Magic (Magical Sleuth Mystery #1) by J.A. Whiting

message 22: by Barbara (new)

Barbara | 110 comments Magical Decisions (Magical Sleuth Mystery #2) by J.A. Whiting The talking magic cat is supposed to be a hallucination, a part of her mind and powers. Her normal cat doesn't seem to do much and is only mentioned a few times in each story so I am not sure this is a cat cozy series.
I am also not sure it is a series but a trilogy.

Barbara | 110 comments Yay! 36 I think that is Cat Nip level.

Fun books overall.
