SOLVED. YA Fantasy about guy who inherits a mansion and raises dragons. Read 2011-2014. [s]

The main character is on a train going towards a town that is located in the mountains. He is going there to inherit a mansion. I think I remember the mansion having a bell system to call people to different parts of the mansion, but I might be mixing that up with something else. He then finds weird stones and they grow to be dragons and he takes care of them. The main guy has two friends that I remember one girl and one guy. I can not remember if this is a series or not but I think it is.

I read this in 2011-2014.

The dragons the main dude raises start attacking the down and stealing anything they deem valuable because the dragons have been with the family for a long time that is how his ancestors got their money by the dragons attacking other towns and taking their gold. He was able to revert the dragons back to stone and he threw the stone in a rock bed that looked like the dragon stone so that other people would not use them in the future.

I think he is a teenager, I feel like I vaguely remember a high school but if not a teenager a guy in he’s early 20.
