I think there were 3 main ages. At the beginning I remember there was a girl (and a boy?) and thrir mother who livrd in the attic of some people. The mother dies and the kids are left with some coins and a "treasure" hidden in the wall by the mother. I think the mother was from a rich family? Or the father?

Does "3 main ages" mean 3 family generations? Or 3 very different time periods?
