Anyone want to buddy read it? It's middle grades, the second in a series, but doesn't really have to have the other read first. About 133 pages.

That's fine, just write seperate reviews, so if you had
, you'd just post reviews for
&
☺

We already split one team up because of that. It's ten of you against 2 of us at the moment.

Well, we are a buddy-reading group ☺

True! I get why there is an extra point for buddy reads, but in my mind I'm just going to try and catch up in books read ;)

It's a massive advantage for us teams! Well, it should be. Can only say some members let us down...
I have to say that I'm impressed by how many people have actually turned up. I think we only have 2 people who have totally abandoned us. Hopefully people will have some more reviews to post this weekend ☺

I can probably read

Most people have read 8 books, or are on track to read 8 books, I think people have been pretty good for turning up to this challenge, this is definitely the best team challenge we've ever done participation wise ☺

That makes me happy because it'll probably increase the chance of more team challenges :P

Hope to see you there!
I think the teams are quite good in that you guys are able to support one another and motivate each other to read more, rather then everybody being the enemy.

I agree.. team challenges are way more fun!
We were going to revist the New Years Resolutions challenge next month, would you guys like it to be run as a team challenge?

Perfect Sense ☺ I've done the april challenge so that you can choose if you want to be put in a team, or if you just want to enter as a solo player for the individual prize ☺

Because 1. you didn't join in the discussion here - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
and 2. you didn't post to say that you had participated in a buddy read, you said 'buddy: no' - even if you had participated we wouldn't have known if you said you didn't. does that make sense?
You can still claim a buddy read point by going to the buddy read thread and discussing it with the other people who have read it. You'll still have to post to let us know you've done it though, or we won't know!

It's amazing how different some of the page counts are. Sometimes an author will re-release a book with an excerpt from the next book at the end, and it will bump the length up. Sometimes they reformat with a different font and the page length changes.

Oh, you won't be competing against us. Abbie and I will probably still have our own team though ☺
