Yashika | 65 comments Yashika -

Since I just joined right now, I will earn 30 points.
I read 7 young adult books so far, so 7*15 = (105 points)

30+105 = 135

1. Defy the Night, a 496 page book: at least 200 and 250 pages (30), in addition I know there were more than 10 chapters in it (15); it is also a fantasy book (20) and a romance book (20); The author's name is Brigid (20)

135 + 30 + 15 + 20 + 20 = 220

2. Stalking Jack the Ripper; a 337 page book: at least 200 and 250 pages (30), also has more than 10 chapters (15); historical fiction (25); a romance (20); a book set in Europe (in England) (25); it is also a murder mystery (20)

220 + 30 + 15 + 25 + 20 + 25 + 20 = 355

3. A study in Charlotte; 331 page book: at least 200 and 250 pages (30); also has more than 10 chapters (15); a murder mystery (20); the author's name is Brittany; (20)

355 + 30 + 15 + 20 + 20 = 440

4. Shatter me: 338 pages (30) + 10 chapters (15)
5. Unravel me: 461 pages (30) + 10 chapters (15)
6. Ignite me: 421 pages (30) + 10 chapters (15)
7. Defy me: 357 pages (30) + 10 chapters (15)

message 40: by Yashika (last edited Feb 06, 2022 02:38PM) (new)

Yashika | 65 comments Hey! I just finished reading another book: Purple Hyacinth, Season 1. and Purple Hyacinth, Season 2 I really enjoyed this especially if you like to read mystery (and is a graphic novel with really beautiful art, all the ML and FL look really good) and has a bit humor alongside with the dark themes (and enemies to lovers, who can't be tempted by that). BTW, this is available on Webtoons so if you want to read it, you can go check it out. (I rate it 5 out of 5, best thing I have read in a while (especially for the year so far))

Okay so there are technically 2 different books; (2 different seasons)
Season 1:
- read a book with at least 20 chapters (25)
- read a book with more than 350 pages (novel has 400 pages) (30)
- graphic novel (25)
- a thriller (20)
- a comedy (20) (I will consider it a comedy as I almost burst out laughing multiple times reading this)
- a romance (20) (a romance that is very slow burn)
- a book set in Europe (25)
- a murder mystery (20) (technically more than one)
- a book that you've been wanting (actually this has been in my to-read for a very long time. I realized a while ago that it is available on Webtoons and quickly finished it) (20)

200 + 25 + 30 + 25 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 25 + 20 + 20 = 405

Season 2:
- read a book with at least 20 chapters (25)
- read a book with more than 350 pages (novel has 400 pages also) (30)
- graphic novel (25)
- a thriller (20)
- a comedy (20)
- a romance (20)
- a book set in Europe (25)
- a murder mystery (20)
- a book that you've been wanting (20)
- a sequel (30)

405 + 25 + 30 + 25 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 25 + 20 + 20 + 30 = 610

message 41: by Yashika (new)

Yashika | 65 comments In addition, I also just finished Macbeth by William Shakespeare (this was a play our English class required us to read this year).

- more than 20 chapters (technically scenes which is 28) (25)
- made into a movie (40)
- a classic (35)
- a book written by a deceased author (25)
- a book set in Europe (25)
- a book with one word title (20)

610 + 25 + 40 + 35 + 25 + 25 + 20 = 780
