Xovee Xu | 16 comments For Chinese books, there are not space between seperator (:) and subtitle.

Should I still add a space between `:` and the subtitle?

Thank you very much.

Nikita | 238 comments From the manual:
When a book has a subtitle, the subtitle should be separated from the main title by a language-appropriate separator (in English or if the separator is unknown, use a colon) and a single space.

Thank you, according to the manual, I still need to add a space (which is unusual in Chinese language).

I will practice this rule when adding books.

Thank you again. Have a good day.

Nikita | 238 comments The manual cannot include every single example, there might be exceptions. For instance, in french we usually also add a space before the colon.
I'm not sure in the case of chinese, but if it's inherent to the language I guess it should prevail. But I'm not staff, so you might want to wait for an "official" answer.

The space helps the parser know which part of the title is the subtitle, so please do include it.
