Sylvia Bourget | 3 comments Probably divide the books in days, like one day read a book and the next day the other book and make notes because it can get a bit confusing once you have two stories. Idk if I made myself clear but I recommend doing that :)

buket (yesklaba) i read a lot of books at the same time sometimes like 7 books hahsha because i'm a mood reader and my mood shifts easily through the day. you could pick 3 books with different tropes at first and then go with it according to your mood!!!

rachel (taylor’s version) | 11 comments I’ll have a main book and a secondary book, and read my main book until I get bored of that kind of book, then my secondary book is completely different and I’ll read small chunks of that if I want to read

katereads:) | 181 comments honestly i’m a mood reader so i’ll read like one romance book along with a fantasy and then depending on my mood i’ll read one of the two

arta ☾ (midnightlemons) i used to have this problem - i couldn't remember which events happened in which book, which details were from which book etc.
what helped me was choosing two (or three, or however many books you want to read) books that were completely different from each other or as different from each other as possible.
so, for example, when i was reading a historical realistic fiction book that focused on the characters and their relationships, the other book i chose was a futuristic science fiction novel that focused on the plot and worldbuilding.
but it's not just the content, reading two books that are written in completely different tones, moods and styles helps a lot too. you won't mix up the details if one book is moody and dark and the other one is lighthearted and funny.
also, reading them on different days helps too. don't read them on the same day, one right after the other, it will just confuse your brain.
hope this helped :)

brittany | 303 comments so i always read books that are completely different from each other so then i can read what i’m in the mood for that day

like i normally read a romance, fantasy and non fiction book and then i never get them mixed up!

mackenzie | 11 comments i agree with everyone suggesting mood reading, have two completely different books that you can read based on what you’re feeling. it’s so much more productive to read what you’re interested in at the moment rather than forcing yourself to read another book and getting tired of it.
