Have started reading Dubliners by James Joyce along with The critique of pure reason by Kant.
Kant's book is very very difficult to read, as it to be expected. But Dubliners is good with good narrative style. And the perspective of a young child.

I finally finished Upgrade . I really struggled with the first half of this book, but I thought it was well-written overall and an interesting story. It certainly makes you think and would be good for discussing.

I finished My Sister, the Serial Killer. I thought it was just ok. I have started The Neighborhood.

I just finished Audio 🎧 , by Jenny Lawson. Pretty funny book about Jenny’s up’s and downs in her life with many challenges.

Next: think will read a couple of NetGalley Books. , by Laurie Lico Albanese and , Eva Garcia Saenz de Urturi, The last Book in a Serial Killer Trilogy set in Vitoria, Spain and I really enjoyed the other two books.

Finished The book was very interesting and a welcome change to what I have been currently reading.

I just finished about one man's experience trying to flee North Korea. His family was brought over to North Korea from Japan during the repatriation programs - they were lured with false promises of a "paradise" with jobs for everyone, free education and medical services. Instead, they were met with starvation and subhuman conditions with no hope for the future.

It was a good memoir that taught me a lot of what went on in North Korea from the late 60s to late 90s!
