so what books are you planning to read? we could share our tbrs and then choose a book to read that fits a prompt
ViciousThe Secret History
All the Light We Cannot See
Champion
The One
The Serpent's Shadow
Beautiful World, Where Are You
These were some books I thought I might reaad but I'm honestly up for recommendations!
Also I saw that we all have dystopian and fantasy in common so if you have any books in mind please let us know
Some of the books I want to read are Shadow and Bone
Afterlove
You've reached Sam
The invisible life of Addie LaRue
Renegades
Rosst73 wrote: "Does it match with the prompts given?"I think one of the prompts is "Read a Romance book" so I think yes
Rosst73 wrote: "Does it match with the prompts given?"Yeah we can use it for the "Read a romance book" prompt
Rosst73 wrote: "How many chapters should we read in a day?"I'm not sure, let's try 5 a day and we'll see how that goes
Rosst73 wrote: "Should we ask Pretzel and M(is she comes online) again?"i think we shoud begin since it's been almost a week and they haven't replied. If they reply we can let them know that we're reading You've Reached Sam
Ok and should we suggest some more books that fulfill the prompts? So that we can choose for the next read
Rosst73 wrote: "Ok and should we suggest some more books that fulfill the prompts? So that we can choose for the next read"Oh okay, I'll start reading "You've Reached Sam" today, and I think that that's a cool idea.
Rosst73 wrote: "Ok and should we suggest some more books that fulfill the prompts? So that we can choose for the next read"Yes we should!!
Okay, I did find a couple of books in my TBR that do fit the "Read a book with a green cover" (Garnet) prompt:- Maze Runner
- The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (doubt my mom will let me buy this book tho T-T) (also LGBTQ+)
- Beasts and Beauty by Soman Chainani
- Euphoria Kids by Alison Evans (also LGBTQ+)
- A Snake Falls to Earth by Darcie Little Badger (also LGBTQ+)
I've also got quite a few with "RAB with an LGBTQIAP+ character or couple" (Libra)
- Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
- Cemetery Boys
- Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender
- Radio Silence
- A Dark and Hollow Star by Ashley Shuttleworth
- Sweet and Bitter Magic by Adrienne Tooley
- The Midnight Girls by Alicia Jasinska
- Reverie by Ryan La Sala
- Crier's War by Nina Varela
"RAB with the word “blood”, “heart”, or “love” in the title" (Garnet):
Heartless by Marrisa Meyer?
RAB with stars on the cover or with an immortal character in my tbr is The invisible life of Addie LaRue and as for a book published in 2020 :These violent delights by Chloe Gong was published on November 17, 2020
I've already read "The maze runner", "The invisible life of Addie LaRue" and "Heartless" so I would prefer not to reread them
We could also read "Dead poets society" for 2. RAB with a green cover (this edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...) or for 7. RAB with amazing character development
nefeli wrote: "I'd also like These Violent Delights for a book published in 2020"Oooh, that's cool. Does it fit any other prompts?
Also, has anyone else completed "You've Reached Sam"?
nefeli wrote: "We could also read "Dead poets society" for 2. RAB with a green cover (this edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...) or for 7. RAB with amazing character development"
Won't it like, complete both prompts? Instead of just one? Sorry if this is a dumb question 😅
nefeli wrote: "I've already read "The maze runner", "The invisible life of Addie LaRue" and "Heartless" so I would prefer not to reread them"
That's cool!
nefeli wrote: "I'd like to read Radio Silence or Felix Ever After for "RAB with an LGBTQIAP+ character or couple""
Out of the two, I would like to read Felix Ever After (if that's fine)
I'm not sure but I think it's one prompt per book so "These Violents Delights" can count for 5. RAB published in 2020 or 6. RAB with a morally grey main character (but I'm not sure about the second one).Don't worry it's not a dumb question 😅
I'm currently on chapter 5 of "You've reached Sam" but I'll read another 5 chapters today and more if I have time. What about you?
Okay, no problem as long as the other people on the team agree as well :)
Oh cool, thank you very much!I might’ve spent all my time reading instead of doing my math homework, so yeah, surprisingly finished it today 😅💀💀
nefeli wrote: "Ohh haha that's cool!!How did you find it?"
I enjoyed it a lot! I did mind some paragraphs pretty monotonous and kinda unnecessary (I don't remember which, but there were some long ones that I kinda skimmed through). But I think that's a personal pref. thing.
nefeli wrote: "We could also read "Dead poets society" for 2. RAB with a green cover (this edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...) or for 7. RAB with amazing character development"I'm fine with anything as long as its not rated 16+
