I’m almost finished with The Murder of Mr Wickham. I haven’t seen any reviews here on Good Reads or chatter from others reading this but I think it’s loads of fun continuing the stories of our favorite Jane Austen characters. I’ll be looking forward to finding out who did the crime!

Re-reading The Hunger Games series, including the prequel: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins.
All readers should download these Buzz Book samplers for free when they are offered. Buzz Books 2022: Fall/Winter has excerpts from heaps of new Fiction, Debut, Nonfiction, and Young Adult books due out soon. I've mentioned some I like, of course!

Home for a While by Lauren Kerstein, brightly illustrated by Natalia Moore is the story of little Calvin, who is arriving at yet another foster home, feeling unwanted and angry. But Maggie knows what she's doing!
4.5★ Link to my review of Home For a While with several illustrations
I finished a historical romance: Up All Night with a Good Duke
by Amy Rose Bennett. My 3.5 star rounded to 4 stars review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
It's a few days before publication day so I can post my 4 star review of Cold Fear

Here is my 4 star review of Her Frozen Cry
by Carolyn Arnold:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I enjoyed this cozy mystery: Bayou Book Thief
by Ellen Byron. Diverse characterization, great world-building details, and the internal dialogues deepened the conflict and pulled this reader into the inner world of the characters. My 4 star review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I think readers who enjoyed Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine are going to enjoy meeting Nita Prose's lovable Molly The Maid. She's a square peg who's much more genuine than most who fit in the round holes of the world.
4★ My review of The Maid
Light-hearted romp through Regency England with Georgette Heyer's

Sea People: The Puzzle of Polynesia by Christina ThompsonThis was an ambitious book, and Thompson succeeded in writing an engaging book about the Polynesian settlements across the gargantuan Pacific Ocean.

I have just started reading Kappy King and the Pickle Kaper
by Amy Lillard second book of an Amish mystery series.
I just finished reading My Wife Is Missing. It was pretty twisty. If you enjoy books that keep you guessing, you may enjoy this one. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I loved the world/s of the characters in Gabrielle Zevin's latest, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. In games, you can get a new life, start over - extra tomorrows. In real life, they struggle like the rest of us.
4.5~5★ My review of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
Currently reading three books - 1. Skoko's Smile by Choi Eunyoung
Just about to finish this one and I've really enjoyed it! It's been on my TBR for such a long time that I've been so glad to get into it and read each of the stories. My favourite one so far has been Hanji and Youngju.
2. Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters
I've heard so many good things about this book so I started it a couple of days ago. Only about 20% through but really enjoying it so far. Reese is such a fantastic character.
3. In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead
If The Secret History and Malibu Rising had a lovechild it would be this book. I'm about 70 pages in and it's one of the best books I've read in a while so far! The characters are all unlikeable and there are dark academia/heading towards disaster/party vibes which I'm totally here for.
I finished How to Write a Book Review: A Template for Reviewing Books
by Sarah S. Davis.My 4 star review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My 3 star review of Cowboy Wolf Outlaw
by Kait Ballenger:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Entertaining. However, it was short on the suspense that is usually in this series.
I just finished one of Nora Roberts' books. An oldie but a goodie. My review of Public Secrets by Nora Roberts

Now that we're near the publication date, I can post my 4 star review of Trouble with the Cursed
by Kim Harrison. Kim Harrison’s creativity and great world-building stand out in this urban fantasy. The plot is twisty and absorbing with exciting scenes and an antagonist’s personality that is hauntingly memorable.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

My 4 star review of Hatchet Island
by Paul Doiron:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
This riveting crime thriller and police investigation keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The setting is mainly on four islands off the coast of Maine as well as the sea kayak trip to get there.
The Nonesuch by Georgette Heyer - a sporty philanthropist, a Scarlett O'Hara iteration, and a paid companion intersectMy review - www.Goodreads.com/review/show/4781619894
Just finished Lessons in Chemistry. Now this was a really good book for me. Funny, dog friendly & great story telling. I highly recommend

I'm reading "The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock" by Imogen Hermes Gower
The Woman in the Library, by one of my favourite Aussie authors, Sulari Gentill, is a wonderfully tricky, multi-layered mystery where I think I suspected almost everyone, real and fictional. A great read!
4.5~5★ My review of The Woman in the Library"
The Lying Dutchman by Graham Brack is the latest entertaining (and informative) adventure of Master Mercurius, a gentle Dutch cleric, coerced into spying in 17th century England. Always entertaining!
4★ My review of The Lying Dutchman
