Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments Having been on course for the original 100 book challenge in 2021 quite comfortably by around end October but then only finishing the extended challenge of 105 on 30 December, have decided to start with 100 books again and see how this goes. November and December are really busy months for me so I'll want to take stock again next October.

Yes on an Agatha fest at the moment. Unfortunately although I had almost caught up, I am now two books behind again. It doesn't help that I have a backlog of magazines which I have been tackling for the past few days.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12591 comments I keep saying I'm going to spend a month reading her books and never do! Good luck in catching up

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12591 comments I read The Five last year, found it a hard read, but felt I had to read it, if that makes sense? It certainly changed the perception there was around these women.

Yes I found it a very absorbing account and it's one of the few I've decided to keep after reading.

Thanks Desley - now 43 (though I thought it would be 44 if I've read another 3) and 3 ahead so fingers crossed can stay that way.

Updated: it's 44 and 4 ahead - GR was being a bit slow on the home page for some reason.

cheers Desley. The latest three, to be posted in next comment, have brought me back to 4 ahead, as I'd dropped a bit. 47 now completed so getting near the halfway mark.
