Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments Can't believe I've already read 90 books out of my challenge. Will read a few more and then probably make a modest increase as November and December are always slow-down months for reading with NaNoWriMo and Christmas preps.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12592 comments Wow, that's very impressive Pam

Thanks Desley! Probably reading too much though and not getting on with other things.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12592 comments I know that feeling well, I might be able to read a large book in one week, but don't come and look at the house, as it's bound to have been neglected!

message 80: by Pam (new)

Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments 92 read and 14 ahead - can't believe it as I took several days out to try to catch up on magazines.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12592 comments That's fab, I'm just about to increase mine

message 87: by Pam (new)

Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments Well, having read 99 books in my challenge I've now modestly increased it to 105. I'm erring on the side of caution because November/December are always busy months and I did once bump up my target and then fail to meet it. So I'll see how I get on and may increase it again if I have sufficient time left.

message 89: by Pam (new)

Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments That's 102 books and I have two more on the go at present so I will have to increase the target again. Just modestly though as wary of overcommitting with a busy six weeks ahead.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12592 comments Glad you've been able to increase your target, I am slightly regretting my increase at the moment!

Oh dear! I'm not sure whether to nudge mine up again very slightly - it's now 110 and have read 108 plus am halfway through my current book (the one I started after I finished Drood below - that one took ages due to the length and the slow going).

message 94: by Pam (new)

Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments Just finished Drood by Dan Simmons but sadly found it disappointing - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5116645818

Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments One book away from completing the challenge but might nudge the target up slightly as there's still a few weeks to end of year.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12592 comments Ooh, that's exciting Pam, I think I've got 3 left, but feel optimistic.

Pam Baddeley | 3334 comments Decided given the nearness to Christmas that I wouldn't extend the challenge any further though I expect I'll read a book or two by the end of the year. So my 112th book is:
