I want to read The Forgotten Kingdom which is on my 12 & 4 list. It probably won't be the first I finish as I'll be reading a couple for book clubs which will meet on the 9th & 10th. One of those is The Red Lotus & the other Klara and the Sun.

I will probably read Lessons in Chemistry as my first book as I have a face-to-face book club that will meet on January 8th and this is the book for discussion.
I'll be reading
in January as it's my pick for a bookclub, but not sure it will be the first one I finish- as I will also be reading at least one cozy on kindle or audible.
My First 5 books based on my challenges will be the following -
1. The Decent Inn of Death
by Rennie Airth (John Madden #6)
2. Death of a Red Heroine
by Qiu Xiaolong (Inspector Chen #1) This will be a carry-over unless I miraculously finish by Dec 31.
3. The Cool Cottontail
by John Dudley Ball (Virgil Tibbs #2)
4. Five Little Indians
by Michelle Good
5. Fanny Hill. Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure by John Cleland

Because this was picked for me in the PIFM challenge and I can’t wait for NASCAR to start again in February Earnhardt Nation: The Full-Throttle Saga of NASCAR's First Family
will be my first of 2023, starting tomorrow!
