I enjoy fantasy and science fiction, but I give a try to different genres. I like reading challenges because they help to read more and expand my horizons.
I hope 2023 will bring new openings.

I try to read a little bit of everything, but I tend to gravitate towards non-fiction and essays, poetry and a little bit of romance. But more or less if it sounds good I'll give it a shot.
My goal for this past year was 24 books but that didn't happen so we're trying again this year!!

I hope this year goes better for you and that peace happens soon! My dad's parents grew up during the revolutions in Ukraine and had to flee, so this is very close to my heart (but they spoke German first, Russian second and could only get by in Ukrainian.) They escaped in 1927.

Happy holidays everyone.

I enjoy romance, horror, poetry, self help, suspense, thriller, mystery, and am dipping my toes into lighter fantasy as of late.
I’m contemplating my reading 2023 goals. I’d like to branch out more outside of my typical reading zone and see what magic I can find.

My reading goals for 2023 are that I want to try and read 100 books. I fell short of my goal this year. I also really want to read the books in my personal library before binge buying or doing huge library hauls. I want to read more nonfiction this year too!
Feel free to add me as a friend on here! You can also find me on Bookstagram at @CurlQueenReads ❤️

My favorite genres are mostly fiction (thriller, horror, psychological, LGBTQ) but I'm open-minded, so if a book is interesting I'll read it regardless of it not being my preference.
My reading goal for 2023 is 12 books, which means I'll try to finish a book on a monthly basis.
I am quite anxious when it comes to interacting but I'll try my best to do it from time to time :)

I have loved reading books for as long as I could remember.
I haven't read many books over the past year because of illness, so I am going to start over again, and challenge myself to completing 23 books in 2023. I look forward to reading more and interacting with all of you x

I most often find myself reading fiction, typically more on the contemporary side. I enjoy thrillers, mystery, romance, and love an unreliable narrator. I'd love to have more GoodReads friends so I can peek at what people are reading 😅🥰

Welcome Janhia. We are a pretty friendly bunch here and I look forward to hearing more from you.

I used to be a steady reader, but as time went on things slowly took precedence over reading even though it brought me great joy! I need to change that!
I set a small goal last year through GoodReads that I just barely completed so that must mean I'm ready to take it to the next level! That said, I'm not ready for that 52 book a year club so I was going to go with something near the middle... 23 in 23 has a good ring to it!
Good reading in 2023, all!

The son of two teachers (one who ALWAYS had a book in his hand) and the husband of a librarian. Love reading a good book.
I read 25-50 books a year, usually on a kindle but I also love print. Former bookseller. I read a wide variety of genres but have a special love of mystery/thrillers, horror, and science fiction. I am as happy to find a new, little-known author with a great book as I am to read a best seller. Favorite authors include Jeffery Deaver, Brad Thor, Matthew Rielly, C. J. Tudor, Mark Greaney, Larry Correia, Brandon Sanderson, Peter Clines, Robert Jordan, and Andy Weir among others.
Feel free to add me as a friend.....we can never have too many friends (unless you have 5,000---goodreads has determined that's too many) :)
