Only a few chapter in, but I’m really enjoying it.

I'm still getting through The Burning Chambers but also wanted a fresh start so began Her Every Fear today!
For the last few days I’ve been reading The Last of the Apple Blossom by Mary-Lou Stephens
and I’ve just this minute finished it. This is a BRILLIANT book. So many mixed emotions whilst reading this book. And the amount of research that has gone into this book is outstanding. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LOVED IT.

I agree, a remarkable debut novel! I'm looking forward to her second coming up soon :)

Colin, click on 'add book/author' in the comment box and follow the prompts. You can edit your post in the bottom right hand corner too :)
Oh my golly gosh, that's so simple - I didn't even see that there. I'm learning so much from your GRs masters!
My review for Woman Last Seen by Adele Parks: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I enjoyed it, but more for the family dynamics than the mystery.
I’m currently reading The Wattle Island Book Club by Sandie Docker
and I’m LOVING IT. I’m on chapter six, but something tells me already I’m going to need tissues.😢 I do hope I’m wrong. 😊

Thanks for letting me know.
Just finished reading The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle by Matt Cain, a heartfelt and uplifting story.

I'm loving this, narrated by the author. So interesting!
I had no idea the breadth of experience of this author!

Currently reading & enjoying part mystery & lots family drama Missing by Erin KinsleyIt’s for the May calendar of books challenge & it has such a beautiful cover!
I'm not a great lover of poetry but was inspired to read this as it was the theme of Patrick Gale's latest book, Mother's Boy:-Collected Poems 1951-1975 by Charles Causley
Quite appropriate to be reading this at the moment as we are in Cornwall on holiday, where the author lived and many of his poems are based.
This thread hasn't been used in while so I thought I might breathe some fresh air into it! :)I'm currently reading 3 books: The Next Girl, The Everyday Hero Manifesto and The Climate Book.
Currently reading
by Luke Horton and it is Australian. An Aussie couple from Melbourne go on holiday to Bali.Kind of the stereotypical, Aussie, resort holiday.
I am not LOVING it so far, nicely written, but in third person so I feel detached from the characters who, while realistic, are not particularly nice.
Would probably work for people who like reading unlikeable characters.

Brenda wrote: "What are you thinking of The Next Girl Glenn?"Hi Brenda, I just finished reading The Next Girl. Sensational story and I am not typically a fiction reader, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Now I've dropped fiction for the moment and started Don't Sweat the Small Stuff for Men.
I have no doubt there is more fiction in my future, I'll be sure to post about it when I find my next one. :)
