Recently purchased/acquired books - 2022 and beyond!

There were loads of markdowns at an Australia Post shop I was in today. I bought two books for $2 each: Great Australian Outback Teaching Stories and Great Australian Outback Nurses Stories, both by Bill "Swampy" Marsh

From the library I picked up:
The Understudy by Julie Bennett - I've been looking forward to this.
The New Way to Cake: 60 Simple, Stylish Treats with Unbelievable Flavor by Benjamina Ebuehi - a friend recommended this and I am impressed just flicking through it. This looks like one of the few cookbooks I could see myself making everything.
Nineteen Letters by Jodi Perry - from the library freebie shelf.

This arrived today, the library said they'd get it for me and it sat on my record for six months, then said they couldn't get it. I ended up buying it from Book Depository.

This is going to be a super long post. I had the day off yesterday to get my car serviced, and ran to the local shops to do some chores. The lady at the second-hand shop (that is helping a lot of flood victims in the Hawkesbury) told me to take any books I wanted for no cost. I grabbed a lot, and will give some to friends. Then I bought some other things to give her a sale. The Hawkesbury seem to be coming together after the floods to help each other.
