I have been lucky again recently and received a few children's books. From Better Reading Childish and Learning Country from Better Reading Kids.
Thanks Brenda! The kids' books come in handy as I'm a homeschool mum. I enjoy reading them too though!
There’s a new Op Shop in my neighbourhood, so today I dropped in to donate some books and see what they had. Quite a good, eclectic range of books! I bought two from very familiar authors, but titles I’d never heard of. Turns out they are both 2nd novels.Either Side of Midnight by Benjamin Stevenson
Like I Can Love by Kim Lock
I hadn't heard of those either Andrea! I read the first in the Jack Quick series, and hope you like this one!
I just returned home from the Lifeline Book Fair - oh my goodness! Loads of books, and loads of people!! I went with my son and he bought a few. I picked up two! The others I found, I'd already read ;)
The Investigator by John Sandford
The Platoon Commander by John O’Halloran

I recently found a list of supposed Aussie authors' books on an e-book lending site I use. Most I recognised but was surprised to see Leigh Russell and Terry Hayes being classed as Aussie authors. Is this correct?!
I've done as much searching of Leigh Russell as I can, and can only see she's from the UK. Nothing else to identify if she ever lived in AU so I'd say, no not Aussie. Unless someone else can prove me wrong.
Now I'll check Terry Hayes...

No worries Kim, at least you got one out of two :)
