The people on the bus share clothes and blankets. The most memorable part was one character had a bottle of alcohol which they passed around to stay warm. Read between 2010 and 2014 but probably published before. I read this in an elementary textbook in China but I think it was a translated version of an English story. Perhaps Russian.
