This appears to be a zombie novel, but it’s actually about witches.

Somehow I have never read anything by Ray Garton. "Sleazy" is a word I keep seeing to describe this book, so I'm hoping for some Brian De Palma-style inappropriateness.

Have you read other Nick Cutter books? You really can't go wrong with anything by him.

I need to reread that, and I've never gone further in the series. However, connected to the series is The Man from the Diogenes Club, a series of novellas and short stories set in the same world about the titular man. Great fun reading.

The only Nick Cutter I've read is The Troop. I loved it and was paranoid about certain things related to the book for a long time after I read it! Haha. I need to read more of his books for sure.

Theresa (mysteries.and.mayhem) (mysteriesandmayhem) | 359 comments I'm reading Wanderers and I'm slightly disappointed. It started out so strong! I'm just past halfway and I feel like I need to force myself to keep going. The Book of Accidents is still my favorite Chuck Wendig book by far! There's just something almost magical about that one.

I've read the first 3 in this series. They're so good. And this reminded me there are more books in the series I want to read so I went ahead and ordered them. A huge towering tbr never hurt anyone, right?

Now I'm listening to Hyperion. I suggested it for the 1st group read of a gen x Discord server I'm in. I own the Audible.
