Read this around 2014.

It is about a young girl who start getting random letters. When she dreams (I think) the person she get letters from take her on different adventures and educates her about the universe. Physical laws and experiment that makes you start to think. She lives with her mom that does not understand.

Later on the person sending letters tell her to go out in the wood to some abandoned cottage. I think she meets him. Can't remember more after that.
