I’m away from home atm and my iPad won’t let me add details to the sheets, home this afternoon so will do it then. This was the grey cover for the mini.

I really want to do as many coloured cards as I can! I just feel I've been letting the team down as I've been super busy recently and since the holidays are coming up I aim to read more! It's so hard though as many of the coloured cards are taken which is super annoying.
I have taken out both Daisy Jones and A Darker Shade of Magic as neither fitted a particular colour card. I still however believe that Daisy Jones would have worked for the red 9 as when I see the cover I see a red cover.

Everyone claims cards, and I make sure everyone gets at least one if they want. It's very fair. You have other colored cards (brown and maybe orange), and we have four more cards that still need books. Also, you have read 3 books, so far, this entire challenge, which is fine as you have been busy, but we have four readers who read over 15 a month. Not everything will be even with that kind of reading range.

I added it. Thank you, we are getting close to the end for the month.
Great job, everyone

Ella, don't worry about not pulling your weight. Everybody on our team is contributing. We're all in different stages of our lives with different demands on our time and that's exactly why the organisers make up the teams with a balance of readers so we all support each other. Anyway I think reverses are harder to come up with than colour cards!

Being active here has clearly not been my forte. I apologize for the same and will do better in April.
Currently I'm reading a Green 5 for March - Five Little Pigs and should be done in the next 10 hours.
Regarding April,
I have added a coloured card - Red 5.
The Devotion of Suspect X

I would like to suggest a book for Red 9 which can also act as a Reverse as I have read it, in case someone is interested - If required I can re-read it.
The Uncommon Reader

Great work guys!
I barely manage to read a few books a month and you all despite having hectic lifestyles just do wonders.

I have 3 different ones I was working on that could easily be finished, or I see that there a couple of slots that are still not covered on the sheet. I have a green cover - five that could be covered or I have a potential 0 as well.
I can do either. If not I can save what I have for April.

One that works for the 0 card but also yellow cover for April
One that works for 5 green
One that works for 0 card and grey cover.
In the mean time, I'm going to start another one of my April books.
I'll keep checking here in case I need to finish one for March.

Okay thank you and no they were both not rereads. I have now added them to the April SS!

I didn't know we had this book until we replaced our flooring in the living room 2 weeks ago and had to move everything. We emptied and did a clean out of our bookcases and I discovered lots of books I should read or get rid of. Room for new books now!
Shannon read this for March so it works for a Reverse. I enjoyed it. It's sort of an odd bio and exploration of Flaubert's life and thoughts deeply coloured by the narrator. I've read Mme Bovary so understood many of the references but I'm sure I also missed a lot.

Hi Tina,
Yes, there is.
We still need a:
red 9 and a yellow 9
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, Tina, Shannon, or Jen,
Since I want everyone to have a chance to read either a color card or one of the new Overdrive cards (If you want, if you don't that is great too), feel free to take one of the cards I have claimed already. We have the Red 9 left but I have only started the Yellow Skip so far.
Edited: The Yellow 9 needs to be claimed as well

Yes hopefully. Just waiting for a copy to arrive at the library. It is already 'in transit' meaning it should arrive very soon!

Okay, good. I'll start it and time it to finish after you do so you can use yours as a grey cover.

@Ella I read Circe last year. Really enjoyed it, noted on the spreadsheet it will work as a reverse.
Also if anyone wants to read for the color cards I have feel free. I plan to read those books regardless and they will count for a couple categories so please feel free to pick them up if you want.

I'm not sure how to describe how much I disliked this book. The main character was incredibly annoying. And the authors way of describing things was either over the top and I really wished she would move on, or it was repetitive. It gets 2 stars merely for the fact that I finished it and the core plot was interesting.

I’ve found a red 9 book which I’ll get started on. (:
The yellow 9 I’ll have to dig for a bit to find one.

I just fixed the link for Splendid. I don't know what happened there but it was to just a picture and not the goodreads page. Noticed it when I was marking it finished.
I ended up finishing Purrs & Peril on March 31 for another team challenge. That's why I didn't transfer it over to April.

Book: A Relative Murder

Interesting murder mystery.
Also, for the colour cards I'm not really attached to having a particular card, and given my reading is so mood based, there is no guarantee I would read one. I'm perfectly fine with my books being slotted in where they are needed.

I’ve found a yellow 9 book that I can read for as well if needed (:

I think a Contradiction has a Yellow 9 if you want to hold off on the Yellow 9. Thanks for the red 9.

Another re-read, but still as fun as I remember. :)

I will definitely read my orange book because I need it for another challenge --and I'm looking forward to reading it.

I also recently got Mythos from the library so I will start reading that sometime early next week hopefully, if not earlier. I will definitely be able to read it during April!

I stared Mythos, Ella, but will read slowly to finish after you. I'm enjoying it although I'm not trying to remember all the complicated relationships between the Greek gods and goddesses.

Finished: April 6th

This was such a powerful YA contemporary, and I'm genuinely at a loss for words. This book made me feel so much emotion, and it is definitely one of my favorite books of the year.

This was an unsettling thriller with a strong religious theme and paranormal element. Well-written and exciting towards the end.

Another re-read continuing a series.
I recently decided to try listening to Audio books just to see how I felt about it. And given my work has me working by myself, I figured it would be nice to switch what I'm listening to up. At first I wasn't a fan of it just because I like the experience of see the words, but as I've gotten used to it I've found I haven't minded it at all and actually like the switch up.

I really like John Banville's writing but hadn't read anything of his for years. Now I want to look for all those books of his I've missed. This is a mystery set partly in Dublin and partly in Spain. Banville's characterisations and descriptive writing are terrific and the plot meanders to a slow but somehow relentless and inevitable ending.
